I don't use that phrase lightly, in fact only once before in describing our blockbuster Pistachio Sea Salt bark. Well, we have a new treat that won't disappoint.

We're proud to offer hand-made cherry cordials. I personally guarantee these will not disappoint. Maraschino cherries soaked in brandy with a fresh fondant and hand-dipped up to the stem. True mouth magic to behold, our chocoholic tasters can't help but elicit a moan of delight while munching on these.

At $1.75ea, these are a steal. Some are 3x heavier than anything else in our showcase. Stop in to experience them yourself and be sure to take some to share. Your friends and family will thank you!

5th Annual Chocolate Festival 

Our 5th Annual Chocolate Festival was a great success and we wanted to extend our heart-felt gratitude to friends, family, fans, and community that made it all possible! We entertained 71 adults and enough children to push the event towards 100 guests.

Our bark contest results have been calculated with Jen L's milk chocolate bark with peanut butter, pretzels, and rice krispies taking it with a landslide! Jen informed us that she will be donating her 1 pound of chocolate each month for a year to Avrie's Family!

Speaking of Avrie... Our combined ticket sales, bracelet purchases, and additional donations totaled $1,100 so thanks again to all the generous souls that helped raise money for her cause.

Raffle winners were drawn and contacted. Please join us in congratulating Sarah W. on winning our wedding favor package, Laura W. who won the chocolate of the month package, and Kathy T. who won a 10 pound chocolate bar!

 

Thanks again to everyone who helped make this possible!

New Chocolate Art

We recently completed a new chocolate painting for the Seneca Park Zoo Zoobilation 25th Anniverary.  The canvas is a 4lb. sheet of dark chocolate airbrushed and painted with black and white cocoa butter.  The subject is one of the resident owls from the zoo photographed by Grant Taylor.  You can read more about the event here: http://www.senecaparkzoo.org/Zoobilation.aspx

 

New Product: Dark Pistachio Sea Salt Bark

Our newest product has hit the shelves and to say it's moving fast would be an understatement!

We are now offering Dark Chocolate Pistachio Bark with Sea Salt! It's devilishly delightful and absolutely addicting. You may have sampled it at our 2013 Chocolate Festival alongside some other experimental products.

Chocoholics are raving and we were taking orders before it was even official. Come visit us and ask for a sample if you'd like to try it.

The Dark Pistachio Sea Salt Bark will be a permanent addition to our offering and is available for $5 per 1/4lb.

 

2013 Chocolate Festival Successful!

We would love to thank the 90+ guests that joined us foor our 4th annual Chocolate Festival!  Great fun and a LOT of chocolate was consumed by all!  Congrats to our raffle winners Paul P., Laura F., and Melinda M.  We hope to see you all again soon, the "chocolate holidays" will be here before you know it!

 

 

 

New Products for the Fall

New products are in and those who have tried them are raving! This was the summer of Sea Salted Caramels and we have even more tasty treats for those who want salty with their sweet!

Come on in a pick up your peanut butter filled chocolat
e covered pretzel (they're huge!) or the caramel filled chocolate covered pretzel.


If you haven't tried out our "Energy Bars", you're missing out! All the natural caffeine our dark chocolate can deliver with a healthy heap of protein from sunflower seeds, almonds, and walnuts and a fruity finish from raisins and cranberries.

 

 

2012 Chocolate Festival Successful!

A heart felt thanks to the over 120 guests that joined us in celebrating 25 sweet years in business and in raising funds for the ALS Association.  We had a blast feeding and entertaining everyone and it was a pleasure to see smiles on so many faces.  We hope everyone enjoyed the event as much as we enjoyed hosting it.  Congratulations to James S, Dylan S, and Chris B who won the raffles for Chocolate of the Month, the 3' Easter Bunny, and Wedding Package!  Thanks again and here's to 25 more years!

 

 

 

 

Virtuoso Truffles Get A Makeover!

We have recreated our line of hand-made truffles to include a variety of new flavors and appearances.  Our selection now includes:

  Harmony ~ Milk chocolate hazelnut ganache in a dark chocolate shell.

Overture ~ Pure milk chocolate ganache in a milk chocolate shell.

Cadence ~ Dark chocolate cranberry ganache in a milk chocolate shell.

Minuet ~ Dark chocolate blackberry ganache in a dark chocolate shell.

Encore ~ Pure dark chocolate ganache in a dark chocolate shell.

Harmony ~ Milk chocolate hazelnut ganache in a dark chocolate shell.

 

New Product: White Chocolate Oreo Bark

Chocolate dipped oreos and bark are two of our most popular products, so we decided to combine the two!  We sampled this product at our 2011 Chocolate Festival and most agreed it was delicious! White chocolate oreo bark had earned its place along side our very popular Almond and Cashew barks.

 

Chocolate Festival Successful!

Sea Salted Caramels Have Finally Arrived!

This is what many of you have been waiting for!  Chewy vanilla caramel covered in rich chocolate and sprinked with crunchy sea salt.  The ultimate combination of sweet and salty, creamy, chewy, and crunchy.  We are offering these caramels in 8oz. boxes as well as in our candy case ($16/lb.) available in milk and dark chocolate.

Eat Your Shoes!

If you've visited us recently, chances are you've seen our chocolate heels.  That's right, life-sized chocolate shoes perfect for a special birthday or shower gift.  These shoes are available in any combination of milk, dark, and white chocolate and can be colored with just about any shade of edible dust.  Each shoe runs $25 and they are available to walk-ins, although it is best to call ahead.

Our annual Chocolate Festival was a success!  Thanks to all who came out to enjoy the chocolate and beautiful weather we had.

Encore Chocolates competes in the Epilepsy Foundation's 24th Annual Chocolate Ball - "Noche Caliente" !

 For 18 years, Encore Chocolates has donated chocolate sculptures and paintings to the silent auction portion of the Epilepsy Foundation's annual Chocolate Ball.  This year, we decided to enter the cake competition for the first time.

Our creation was called "Suba de las Llamas" or "Rise from the Flames".  It consisted of three cakes each containing dark chocolate and pomegranate layers with a pomegranate ganache filling.  The cakes were decorated with a bark made from white chocolate, paillete feuilletine, and airbrished with colored cocoa butter.  We also hand painted a topper with colored cocoa butter on a slab of white chocolate.

We were elated when our donation received a bronze medal in the show piece category and brought in $1,250 for the Epilepsy Foundation during the live auction.

A special thanks goes out to all those who attended and voiced their enthusiastic support of our dessert.  Here is a photo of our entry.

 You may have noticed some major changes in our website.  In an effort to make secure online ordering a possibility, we have upgraded our site.  We will be offering a small selection for online ordering initially and will add additional products as time permits.

 If you wish to order anything that is not available on the website, we can complete your order via phone at (585) – 266 – 2970 from 10am until 6pm Monday through Friday and 10am until 4pm Saturdays.

 We are proud to present a new version of our popular “Artisan Chocolates”.  We have adopted a new technique which includes airbrushing in colored cocoa butter and luster dusts, as well as hand-painted background colors.

 These pieces are available now at $1 per piece individually or add them to your boxed selections when you visit us!
