Valentine's Day is Coming!

Less than two weeks remain until Valentine's Day is upon us!  In addition to our selection of molded Valentine's novelties and boxed selections, we will be offering freshly dipped strawberries from Friday, February 10th through Tuesday, February 14th.  Pre-order your berries in advance and you will receive the largest berries available.  Pre-order a dozen and recieve a 13th for free!  Dipped strawberries will cost $2 each and raspberry cups will cost $1.  Fresh dipped fruit should be enjoyed the same day of purchase for best quality.


 

Virtuoso Truffles Get A Makeover!

We have recreated our line of hand-made truffles to include a variety of new flavors and appearances.  Our selection now includes:

  Harmony ~ Milk chocolate hazelnut ganache in a dark chocolate shell.

Overture ~ Pure milk chocolate ganache in a milk chocolate shell.

Cadence ~ Dark chocolate cranberry ganache in a milk chocolate shell.

Minuet ~ Dark chocolate blackberry ganache in a dark chocolate shell.

Encore ~ Pure dark chocolate ganache in a dark chocolate shell.

Harmony ~ Milk chocolate hazelnut ganache in a dark chocolate shell.


New Product: White Chocolate Oreo Bark

Chocolate dipped oreos and bark are two of our most popular products, so we decided to combine the two!  We sampled this product at our 2011 Chocolate Festival and most agreed it was delicious! White chocolate oreo bark had earned its place along side our very popular Almond and Cashew barks.

 

Chocolate Festival Successful!

Thank you to everyone who came out to enjoy our 3rd Annual Chocolate Festival!  Over 75 guests enjoyed our chocolate buffet, demonstrations, and activities.  Congratulations to Doug L., Delia P., and Laura G., who were our raffle winners!  Karley from the Irondequoit Blog also wrote a nice article about the event which can be found here:

Sea Salted Caramels Have Finally Arrived!

This is what many of you have been waiting for!  Chewy vanilla caramel covered in rich chocolate and sprinked with crunchy sea salt.  The ultimate combination of sweet and salty, creamy, chewy, and crunchy.  We are offering these caramels in 8oz. boxes as well as in our candy case ($16/lb.) available in milk and dark chocolate.

Eat Your Shoes!

If you've visited us recently, chances are you've seen our chocolate heels.  That's right, life-sized chocolate shoes perfect for a special birthday or shower gift.  These shoes are available in any combination of milk, dark, and white chocolate and can be colored with just about any shade of edible dust.  Each shoe runs $25 and they are available to walk-ins, although it is best to call ahead.


 

 

 

Chocolate Festival

 

Our annual Chocolate Festival was a success!  Thanks to all who came out to enjoy the chocolate and beautiful weather we had.

Encore Chocolates competes in the Epilepsy Foundation's 24th Annual Chocolate Ball - "Noche Caliente" !

 For 18 years, Encore Chocolates has donated chocolate sculptures and paintings to the silent auction portion of the Epilepsy Foundation's annual Chocolate Ball.  This year, we decided to enter the cake competition for the first time.

Our creation was called "Suba de las Llamas" or "Rise from the Flames".  It consisted of three cakes each containing dark chocolate and pomegranate layers with a pomegranate ganache filling.  The cakes were decorated with a bark made from white chocolate, paillete feuilletine, and airbrished with colored cocoa butter.  We also hand painted a topper with colored cocoa butter on a slab of white chocolate.

We were elated when our donation received a bronze medal in the show piece category and brought in $1,250 for the Epilepsy Foundation during the live auction.

A special thanks goes out to all those who attended and voiced their enthusiastic support of our dessert.  Here is a photo of our entry.

 You may have noticed some major changes in our website.  In an effort to make secure online ordering a possibility, we have upgraded our site.  We will be offering a small selection for online ordering initially and will add additional products as time permits.

 If you wish to order anything that is not available on the website, we can complete your order via phone at (585) – 266 – 2970 from 10am until 6pm Monday through Friday and 10am until 4pm Saturdays. 


 

New Artisan Chocolates!

 We are proud to present a new version of our popular “Artisan Chocolates”.  We have adopted a new technique which includes airbrushing in colored cocoa butter and luster dusts, as well as hand-painted background colors.

 These pieces are available now at $1 per piece individually or add them to your boxed selections when you visit us!
